Weekly Media Summaries:
Media Summaries provide a short summary of every relevant clip about the company each week. The report can be e-mailed directly to key company personnel who can assess media response to a particular story - information which could be used to enhance media relations. It can also be used to inform key personnel about the company’s successes and initiatives to help promote internal relations. Coverage is broken up into geography, and the summaries provide a good overview of the global media coverage. All reports can be produced in accordance with the company branding templates, incorporating the logo and corporate colours. Reports can be sent to key company personnel and posted on the company intranet.
Quarterly Media Analysis Reports:
The Quarterly Media Analysis reports are in-depth PowerPoint documents which show how successful the media effort has been over the quarter and how the company is being represented within the media. Where applicable, charts are supported by commentary explaining the results, including specific examples from the media. Quarter comparison information is also included which provides an in-depth qualitative overview of the media coverage. Yearly analysis reports can also be produced upon request. The reports enable you to:
- Identify key message penetration
- Showcase top positive coverage – illustrating the success of PR initiatives and key message delivery
- Identify whether the coverage achieved reflects the business objectives
- Know which were the most commonly reported stories for the quarter, and see if these reflect the PR objectives
- Identify leading spokespeople and help to benchmark the success of media training
- See the breakdown of positive, negative, and neutral coverage between different media and type of article, within leading media and overall for the quarter
- Track the leading media in terms of volume to identify where most of the coverage is being achieved
- Track the impact of coverage, so that you know how much of it appears as a brief mention, prominent mention, first paragraph mention or sole mention
- See a breakdown of the type of media where the coverage appears, and to what extent it is positive, negative or neutral
- Track the volume of coverage for each quarter
Media Release Reports:
Four weeks after a media release is sent out (sooner if required), we will produce a Media Release Report showing all coverage of that story, with a full summary about the article. This can provide an indication of ‘return on investment’ following the media release. Bespoke reports can be provided on request.
Daily Key Stories E-mails:
Each morning we can send daily e-mails of the key stories of the morning to the client. This saves our client’s time having to look through many e-mails of press clips. We request that we are added to the distribution list of the clippings agencies.
Event Evaluation Reports:
Elite Media Services can provide a full evaluation report about a sponsored event. We have produced an evaluation for several years about the Round the Island sailing race. We pride ourselves in providing very timely reports, far faster than many of our competitors. A full report of pre-event coverage can be e-mailed the night before the event, and we will send regular updated reports to show all coverage, including TV and radio coverage. We work with the clippings agencies to provide a full AVE (advertising equivalent rate) of the event.
